Rivian's Adventure Network now has 1,185 DC fast chargers at 165 sites in the U.S. The figures come from Rivian's third-quarter 2026 report. Chargers are up 39% from a year earlier and sites are up 26%.

The quarter

  • A State of Charge analysis on EVChargingStations.com counts 10 new sites and 112 new stalls in Q3. That is a record quarterly stall gain, up 62% from the same quarter of 2025.
  • Sites average about 7.2 stalls, up from 6.5 a year ago.
  • InsideEVs says the chargers deliver up to 300 kW.
  • As of Oct. 30, Rivian Roamer data showed 161 of the 165 sites open to all EVs, not just Rivians.

The slower network

Rivian's Level 2 Waypoints chargers did not get a mention in its latest documents. InsideEVs, citing the Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center, says Rivian has installed just ten 11 kW Waypoints chargers this year. It runs 540 in total at 208 locations.

Next to Tesla

InsideEVs points out that Rivian is still small next to Tesla, which has more than 40,000 fast-charging ports at nearly 3,300 U.S. locations. Rivian is building out its own branded stalls anyway, even though its cars can plug in at NACS Superchargers. For the rest of Rivian's quarter, see our Rivian Q3 story.
