FLO has launched a rewards program that pays Canadian EV drivers 10 cents per kWh for eligible charging, at home and on its public network. Enrolment is through the FLO app. ChargeClub says it went live on Oct. 30, ahead of the planned Nov. 2 date.

Who qualifies

  • Home: FLO Home X3, X6 and X8 chargers connected over Wi-Fi, plus the X5 connected through its PLC module. The FLO Home G5 and other brands' chargers aren't eligible.
  • Public: drivers without a FLO home charger can still earn on eligible public FLO stations.
  • FLO's program page says you need a FLO account in good standing, Canadian residency and to be of the age of majority in your province or territory.

When you can use it

Rewards can pay for charging on the FLO network from spring 2027, and cash payouts are planned for fall 2027. Owners who enrol an eligible connected FLO Home charger also keep an extended warranty for as long as they stay enrolled and the program runs.

What it's worth

ChargeClub estimates that a household charging 3,500 eligible kWh a year would earn about $350, and says FLO is the 25th Canadian charging rewards program it lists. Tesla owners who charge with a FLO Home unit can join. Charging on Tesla's own Wall Connector doesn't count.
