Toyota has filed a large set of recalls in China. The notices published by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) on November 4 cover 100,175 bZ3X electric SUVs and 21,085 bZ7 sedans, plus 55,477 Land Cruiser Prado and Lexus GX 550h hybrids, CarNewsChina reports.
On the bZ3X, built between February 27, 2025 and March 26, 2026, nuts on the front stabilizer bar links may not be tight enough and could loosen or, in extreme cases, detach. GAC Toyota will replace them for free. CarNewsChina says the EV recalls also involve braking software and steering assistance.
SAMR's notice says 47,347 domestically built Prado hybrids made between July 15, 2024 and October 6, 2026, and 8,130 imported Lexus GX 550h hybrids made between February 28, 2024 and October 1, 2026, are affected. The retainer on a fuel line quick connector may be lifted by outside force, which could let the fuel line detach and leak (translated from Chinese).
