Zeekr's original sedan is due another update. An updated Zeekr 001 appears in the 413th MIIT catalog released for public comment, moving it closer to a planned first-quarter 2027 launch.
The filing lists a single rear motor (TZ230XYC04) rated at 370 kW (496 hp), top speeds of 240 km/h or 280 km/h, and a lithium iron phosphate battery with Geely-supplied cells. The car measures 4,977 mm or 5,029 mm long with a 3,005 mm wheelbase. CarNewsChina adds that it supports an optional towing package rated for 2,000 kg.
CarNewsChina estimates the car may integrate Geely's «Smart Charging» technology, citing a 10% to 97% charge in 8 minutes and 40 seconds; that is the outlet's expectation, not a confirmed spec. The current 001 starts at 269,800 yuan.
