Figma is paying up to win the AI design race. The company reported third-quarter revenue of $391.4 million, up about 43% and above the $375.8 million expected, plus adjusted EPS of 10 cents against 5 cents expected, CNBC reports. Shares still fell 7% in extended trading.

Figma raised its full-year revenue forecast to $1.497 billion to $1.499 billion, but expects fourth-quarter growth to slow to about 33%. During the quarter it began giving customers more AI credits without raising prices. «You're potentially trading off near-term revenue, investing in your customers,» CFO Praveer Melwani told CNBC.

The earnings call transcript shows non-GAAP gross margin fell to 82% from 86% a year earlier, reflecting AI inference costs. Figma said 65% of paying customers with more than $10,000 in annual recurring revenue used the Figma agent weekly as of October 31, and its MCP server reached about 1 million weekly active users.
