Unity's AI-driven ad business has pushed it into the black. The game engine company reported third-quarter revenue of $622 million, up 32% from $471 million, and net income of $122 million. CEO Matt Bromberg called it «the first GAAP profitable quarter since our IPO.» Shares jumped on Thursday.

The growth came from Vector, Unity's AI ad engine, which grew 126% year over year and 40% from the prior quarter. Strategic Grow revenue rose 90% to $432 million, and adjusted EBITDA reached $257 million, a 41% margin. Free cash flow was $220 million, TradingKey reports.

Unity guided fourth-quarter Grow revenue up 105% to 107%, but expects Create revenue, its engine business, to grow only 4% to 6%. TradingKey notes the company still posted a $248 million GAAP net loss over the first nine months of 2026.
