Norway's armed forces and police will get Starlink through a new framework deal. The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency awarded satellite firm Marlink an agreement worth up to NOK 450 million (about C$68 million), Aftenposten reports, citing Teknisk Ukeblad. It covers the Armed Forces, police, the PST security service and the National Security Authority.

Drive Tesla Canada says the deal runs through July 2033 and the tender required access to Starlink, Iridium, Viasat, Thuraya and OneWeb, with room to add Starshield, Amazon LEO and Telesat Lightspeed later. Marlink calls itself the world's largest enterprise partner for Starlink.

The military already has 180 active Starlink subscriptions, Drive Tesla Canada reports. The Socialist Left Party has called the defence minister to the Storting to explain the deal, according to Aftenposten.
