Nothing is about to show its AI hand. CEO Carl Pei said the company's first «AI-native product» ships in December, TechCrunch reports. «It's a tool, but one built with the personality and care that have come to define a Nothing product. It has no new screen, and it couldn't have been an app,» Pei wrote.

He gave away little else. The Verge notes a rumor last month that Nothing plans two pairs of AI smart glasses, one without cameras. TechCrunch says Pei also called it a «productivity tool» and seemed to downplay links to AI wearables.

«The whole industry is hunting for its iPhone moment: the pendant, the pin, the glasses, the companion,» Pei wrote, per The Verge, adding that «looking for the iPhone of AI today is a dead end.» No firm release date has been announced.
