Range Rover's cheapest models are on the way out. Autocar reports the Range Rover Evoque and Velar will not be replaced when their production ends, leaving the upcoming Range Rover GT and the Range Rover Sport as the brand's entry points beneath the full-size Range Rover.
Electrek says the Evoque currently starts at $49,900 in the US and the Velar at $61,600. The electric Range Rover GT, revealed in July as a low-slung grand tourer, is expected to be among the first vehicles on JLR's EMA platform, with production starting in the first half of 2027 at Halewood. Electrek expects it to start around $90,000 when it goes on sale as a 2028 model.
The GT will launch as a battery-electric model, with a full-hybrid version planned later in its lifecycle.
