Xpeng's newest affordable SUV is reaching customers. The company held a delivery ceremony for the first Mona L05 owners on Wednesday, where chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng said deliveries are accelerating with a target of 10,000 units in the first month, CnEVPost reports.

The Mona L05 went on sale on October 29 with a limited-time starting price of 139,800 yuan ($20,820). Xpeng says it is built on a dedicated production line, so it will not affect output of models such as the Mona L03.

It is the third Mona model and the series' first large five-seat SUV, Sina Tech reports (translated from Chinese). It comes in six versions with regular prices of 144,800 to 176,800 yuan. It uses vision-only driver assistance, with the Ultra SE version running two Turing AI chips. EV versions use a 183 kW rear motor and 58.2 kWh or 71.1 kWh LFP packs, with up to 635 km of CLTC range.
