Leapmotor delivered a record 106,127 vehicles in October. That is up 50.99% from a year earlier and only 0.45% above September's 105,656. CnEVPost notes that both growth rates slowed from September.
The 1 million question
Leapmotor has delivered 772,666 vehicles so far this year, up 65.88% and 77.27% of its 1 million target. To get there, it needs 227,334 more in November and December, or about 113,667 a month. Inside China Auto says, "we wouldn't bet against it."
Going abroad with Stellantis
Mass production of the B10 began at Zaragoza, Spain, in October. A battery plant in Mallén handles module assembly.
The A10 compact SUV, sold as the B03X internationally, launched in Thailand on Oct. 30.
Overseas sales run through Leapmotor International, its joint venture with Stellantis, which owns 51%.
Leapmotor says its cumulative global deliveries passed 1.9 million at the end of October. It expects its 2 millionth vehicle to roll off the line in November. Its lower prices make it one of the sharpest competitors to Tesla in China's mass market.
