Lynk & Co's refreshed 2027 08 EM-P goes on sale in China on Nov. 5. The brand has released official images of the midsize plug-in hybrid SUV in a bright orange it calls "vibrant orange" on Weibo.

What changes

  • New light details, Lynk & Co branding on the front fender trim and a redesigned roof spoiler.
  • China Auto Daily reports an upgrade to 192-line lidar with the Qianli Haohan H7 driver-assistance package. It notes that this does not mean the car can drive itself.
  • A front passenger seat that reclines into a "zero-gravity" position with a leg rest, and a new sand-gold interior.
  • It keeps the 15.4-inch 2.5K center screen, Snapdragon 8295 chip and Flyme Auto 2 software.

Powertrain

Early information reported by China Auto Daily says the 160 km electric-range version will be dropped. The single-motor version, with 300 kW of combined output, is listed at 230 km CLTC, and the dual-motor 456 kW version at 210 km. CarNewsChina says the current car's 230 km comes from a 38.2 kWh LFP battery and that Yiche expects a range increase. Neither outlet has confirmed a larger battery.

Price context

The current 08 EM-P sells for 175,800 to 228,800 yuan in China, CNC says. Pricing for the 2027 model will come at launch. In the midsize SUV class it competes for the same buyers as Tesla's Model Y, and the Model Y comes only as a battery EV.
