Tesla's software update 2026.38.6 removes the "beta" label from Grok. The update was released on Oct. 29, according to Not a Tesla App's release tracker. Not a Tesla App and Teslascope both list its release notes.
What's new
- Grok out of beta: Tesla has removed the beta label from its in-car AI assistant.
- Supercharger Site Maps: tap "View Site Map" to see a detailed layout of select Superchargers. At pilot sites, the layout and live stall status (Available, Occupied or Down) appear on arrival.
- Dynamic Headlight Leveling: low beams adjust their aim to driving conditions and nearby traffic to cut glare.
- Set Arrival Energy: pick an arrival charge for a trip from the Tesla app (v4.58.0 or later).
- Visual updates: higher-quality car images and a better park scene on the center screen.
- Halloween Mode and Emergency Drive Away: both carried over from earlier 2026.38 builds.
Smaller changes
Not a Tesla App also lists FSD Streaks for legacy Intel, HW3 Model S and X. Service Mode gets a language switch and isolation-health popups in the High Voltage panel. The Model Y L gets a Launch Series badge animation.
The Emergency Drive Away note now warns that you "may be responsible for repair costs". It also says short camera recordings are shared with Tesla when you activate the feature.
